Since 2010 I have been teaching at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. At first my own former teacher James Crabb asked me to stand in for him during his year of leave, and after that I continued as a part-time teacher of both accordion main subject and chamber music.
From August 2017 I moved my class room further north, as I was appointed university lecturer at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. I am truly honoured to be part of the impressive teaching staff at this excitingly innovative music academy!
Teaching is both wonderfully joyful and wonderfully challenging, and I am grateful for getting the opportunity to share my approach to the accordion as a classical instrument and discuss the art (and meaning) of music making with the students.
If you are curious about studying in Oslo or are looking for private lessons, you are very welcome to get in touch.
